Colour blending with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan is one of my favourite techniques to use to create a piece of furniture with a sense of drama. These two pieces have been painted in the same way and I also have had the joy of dying a piece of linen for the chair cover using the Chalk Paint™ as well.
The colour palette I have chosen was French Linen, Old Violet, a touch of Amsterdam Green and Burgundy. I also mustn’t forget to mention the wonderful stamps which are from IOD – Iron Orchid Designs, a fab product which are great fun and have instant impact. Have any of you used them?
