Colour Mixing – how to make the colour purple

I spent the weekend playing around with mixing my own purple tones using Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. I used Burgundy, Aubusson Blue and a touch of Honfleur and Paris Grey for that more muted tone. I’ve got to say I’m pretty pleased with the end results, especially with the way the antique iron hardware really pops off the purple background. It’s a sophisticated look for formal or relaxed interiors. What do you think?
