I’ve had just the most fun teaching one of my painting residential courses here in the UK using Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. The beauty of the course is I never know what the students will bring to paint, there’s always a variety of styles and shape of furniture and in this class that was no exception! During the two days I had students from beginners through to experience painters and even an Annie Sloan stockist – but they all did super well. On the first day I worked them all very hard with plenty of techniques in preparation for a choice of what they would do on the second day. On day two, we discussed shape, style, and of course, colour of the pieces and oh boy, what a variety we have had from industrial rust effects and zinc, botanical, faded grandeur, coastal and classic country. I think they did amazingly. It would be impossible to choose. I just love all of their projects, don’t you?
