I’ve been on the move again, this time to Switzerland. So please enjoy some of the projects from the lovely students in Switzerland. They were all super talented and a real joy to work with. We crammed so much in to just a few days and also had time for some lovely meals and fun down time with Victoria Sparkes, who organised our trip and looks after all the stockists for Annie Sloan Switzerland.
As you can see we had some really wonderful props for styling and took a little time to work on photography for social media sharing too, so that my students could learn how to get the very most from the unique paint effects I had taught them by showcasing their end results so beautifully. It’s all about creating great images!
The rustic chippy look on a piece with faded grandeur is a favourite in Switzerland. I love the elegance of this piece of furniture.
The piece above was one of Victoria’s own from her home and was originally plain wood. It has been wet distressed and lavished with fly spec and plenty of wax to give it this wonderful aged patina.
A simple table transformed into an object of great beauty. See how the splendid propping and contemporary backdrop really helps?
